The article deals with the development of innovative entrepreneurship in the light of sustainable development. The examples of projects implemented in different regions of Russia are analyzed. The author shows a possibility of implementing projects related to the development of ecological tourism, waste recycling, bioenergy and energy saving. Depending on the characteristics of the territory, tourist and recreational activities may be associated not only with ecotourism, but also with extreme tourism, sports tourism and ethnic tourism. The rapid growth of waste generates the necessity for development of waste management firms. Stimulating energy saving allows reducing specific energy consumption and negative environmental impact and preserving non-renewable energy resources for the future. Recycling allows production of biofuels; within the framework of the ENPI program, prospects for its release to trout farms were assessed. In general, the transition to the release of innovative products includes four stages, during the first elementary order is introduced within the company, organizational and managerial innovations are realized, then there is a need to create an integrated structure along the technological chain, which allows increasing the investment potential of the company, as a result, the development of modern technologies , modernization of existing industries. And only by mastering modern technologies and improving the financial situation a firm can effectively develop its innovations.

The problems of forming information, providing information, as well as the problems of using modern information technologies in the field of ecological tourism are considered. It is shown that the problems of information support have both organizational and technical and legal aspects.

The development of the tourism sector is associated with an increase in the tourist flow and, as a result, an increase in the environmental burden on natural objects. Due to the current epidemiological situation in the country, the closure of external borders, the Altai region has become a “point of attraction” for tourists over the past two years. It is quite obvious that the issues of ecological tourism are currently very relevant for the region. The purpose of the work is to assess the prospects for the development of ecological tourism in the Altai region. Main results: the authors made the analysis of the state and ways of tourism industry development in the Altai region and justified the prospects for the development of ecological tourism in the Altai region.

Altai region is an important tourist region of Russia. Currently, ecological tourist routes are very popular in the tourism sector, which is very important for the region. The main purpose of the work is to analyze the development state of tourist routes in the Altai region.
