The paper singles out quality indicators for the five groups of refineries and investigated the properties of indicators in four groups: safety, hygiene, technology and performance, which makes it possible to choose the right fabric for workwear, which do not lose their fundamental properties during operation.

The paper assesses the quality of fire-resistant fabrics for special clothing welders, describes new and improved existing methods for determining fire resistance and tissue resistance to sparks and molten metal splashes. The results of the tests give expert evaluation of the suitability of investigated fabrics for clothing welders.
