the article analyzes the negative female image in the folklore of Siberian Tatars from the point of view of linguoculturology. Various genres of folklore are considered.
The author analyses social processes’ influence on Russian and English languages. Depending on the development of the society, on the actual tends, new words appear to reflect the reality. English is becoming more and more widespread, one may notice a tendency to Russification and the English words transition to Russian without special transformations. It is facilitated by politics, sports, music, public unrest and performances, television and other social institutions.
The article discusses the names of the stages of the wedding ceremony of the Russian old-timer dialect of Yakutia from the standpoint of linguoculturology. In this study, we turned to the wedding ceremony, since it covers almost all aspects of life, not only for an individual, but also for several tribal groups. Using the method of continuous sampling, material was selected from the dictionaries of Russian old-timer dialects of Yakutia by M. F. Druzhinina, which was systematized, is divided into thematic and lexico-semantic groups. It is the traditional wedding ceremony that is characterized by a powerful terminological apparatus, reflecting not only the order, but also, to a certain extent, the value system of the people.
