The article deals with the study of phraseological units frame structure from a cognitive perspective in the English language. The frame "mental activity" is presented by the English phraseology. The using frame possibility is proved in relation to the analysis of phraseological units. The analysis of frame structure "mental activity" allowed us to understand the specifics of English world perception.

The article investigates ideoethnic characteristics of Russian and British communities through two types of analysis: on the basis of social and business characteristics presented in the model of cultural dimensions typology by G. Hofstede and the linguistic analysis of phraseological units. The relevance of the work is confirmed by the formulation of business strategies in Russian and British business environment for effective intercultural interaction.

The article reflects the relationship of inclusion, communication and the semantic side of speech, presents the main mechanisms for learning the semantic side of speech in ontogenesis. The author makes an analysis of various approaches to this problem and draws corresponding conclusions. She suggests possible ways to overcome speech understanding failures, based on experience and observations in the process of pedagogical experiment.

The article deals with the problematic aspects of the most adequate, maximally equivalent russian-yakut and yakut-russian translations of phraseological expressions. The author analyzes the traditional approaches to their translation. At the same time, special attention is paid to the peculiarities of translation of author's phraseological expressions and occasionalisms which have been widely used in speech but have not got an acquired the official status of stable.

The article discusses some of the national-cultural components of the temporal word “Monday” in Russian and identifies the reasons for the negative connotations of this day. The linguocultural aspect allows us to consider the noun Monday as a component of the linguistic picture of the world. The characteristics specific to Monday and the associated prescriptions are defined. As an illustrative material attracts the various phraseological units, the statements from the Internet space and newspapers.
