The article presents the analysis of peculiarities of formation of psychological readiness for school among older preschoolers (children aged 6-7 in terms of the municipal budget preschool educational institution kin-dergarten No. 295). It is shown that the forming of psychological readiness for school children preschool age depends on the skill level of the teacher, from the psychological climate in the children's team, from the level of cognitive active-STI, the emotional-volitional sphere of the child, mode of work and rest.
