In connection with the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, there have been dramatic changes in people's lives in Russia and around the world. One of the important and changing conditions for many workers is telecommuting and distance work. This event provided an opportunity for the development of digital technologies everywhere and changed the labor market. For this study, we conducted a survey in the Megino-Kangalassky ulus of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). As a result, it turned out that during the quarantine, work was actively going on to digitize many types of activities. By area of work, these changes were accepted ambiguously. However, the fact that working conditions have changed and now work requires a basic knowledge of technology is clearly becoming clear.

This article examines the origin, development, and impact of meme tokens on the economy and the financial industry. Meme tokens have become a significant phenomenon in the cryptocurrency community due to their accessibility and strong support on social media. They contribute to the popularization of decentralized technologies but are also characterized by high volatility and speculative risks. The article explores both the advantages, such as attracting new investors and fostering the development of DeFi ecosystems, and the threats, including the lack of regulation and potential fraudulent schemes. The study emphasizes the need to develop regulatory mechanisms that could minimize risks and facilitate the integration of meme tokens into the financial system. This paper analyzes the origins of meme tokens, their economic impact, and possible regulatory approaches, helping to determine their place in the modern financial system.
