The development of full-time schools in the Federal Republic of Germany is associated with a qualitative restructuring of the general education system. So, in 2002, a boom in the development of full-time education began, which manifested itself in the mass restructuring of schoolchildren training organization principles. Hamburg became the pioneering land in the development of full-day schools, where in the mid-2000s, all secondary schools (including district schools and gymnasiums) became full-time schools. One of the key principles in the functioning of full-time schools is project work, which provides flexible educational trajectories and the rejection of traditional homework. In recent years, there has been a steady trend in the development of media and information education, which is associated with the formation of media competences, which in turn ensure the achievement of meta-subject results, such as soft- and self-competences. The article discusses key positions in the field of modern study of full-time schools in both German and Russian scientific discourses. The current legislation in the field of media and digital literacy is analyzed. Also, an important focus is the critical understanding of the practice of implementing the full-time education model through the prism of perception of students, as well as teachers and heads of educational organizations. The aim of the article is to analyze the positive experience of full-time schools in Hamburg as the land, where this form is the only one. In addition, the article pays considerable attention to the organization of project activities, in particular the media educational activities of schoolchildren. The key result of the article is the described mechanics of organizing project work in full-time schools in Germany, the peculiarities of implementing media educational projects, and directions for disseminating this experience on domestic soil. In particular, these methods can also be applied in the higher education sector as a part of student project activities development in the framework of media education both specialized and integrated into other areas. The theoretical significance is represented by a review of the scientific literature on the research topic, and proposal of the author’s definition of the term “full-time school”; practical significance is represented by the empirical material analyzed in the study, which gives an idea of the practice of implementing media educational projects in various full-time schools in Germany.

In the context of the transition to the new edition of the federal state educational standard of basic general education, great attention is paid to the introduction of alternative forms of assessing the planned results of carrying out the basic educational program. One of the innovative methods of pedagogical measurements is the technology of formative assessment, which, having appeared abroad in the last decade of the twentieth century, recently has been used in the practice of Russian school education. The purpose of this article is to describe the origin, conceptual principles and key strategies of formative assessment used by Russian and foreign teachers, as well as to identify the specifics and pedagogical features of the use of formative assessment methods in the lessons of science education cycle - chemistry, physics, biology. The article discusses the advantages of formative assessment in comparison with the traditional system of final (summative) assessment. The current problems and barriers that impede the widespread adoption of formative assessment in the school system are analyzed. The authors worked out a classification of formative assessment methods and techniques used in basic school on the basis of modern Russian- and English-language scientific and pedagogical sources analysis, and described diverse didactic potential of formative assessment. By analyzing the results of a survey of teachers working in schools of Rostov-on-Don, they found the attitude of subject teachers to the technology of formative assessment. The study makes a definite contribution to the modern theory of pedagogical measurements and reveals the prospects of formative assessment as a progressive method of pedagogical diagnostics that meets the needs and requirements of the information society, provides one of the key skills of the 21st century - the ability to learn. The prospects for further research on the subject under consideration are outlined. The article may be interesting to teachers of basic schools, students of pedagogical areas of training, methodologists, specialists in the field of pedagogical measurements and scientists in the field of education modernization.

The article is devoted to the topic of "traces of the past” interpretation; its relevance is due to both the need to improve the training of history majors and the aggravation of the fight against falsifications of history (primarily domestic). The aim of the research is to analyze the correlation of humanitarian, social and technological components in the methodology of teaching historical disciplines. The comparative method was chosen as a key method. The work uses the method of hypotheses, content analysis of the source base, and experience in studying University teaching practice. Identifying the prerequisites for «incorrect" interpretation of historical events, the author compares legal, forensic and philosophical approaches. The theoretical significance of the article lies in the novelty of an interdisciplinary, integrated technosocial humanitarian outlook on historical research. According to the author, the best way to overcome bias is adherence to principles; a person must inspire and justify trust: this requirement is true for both a forensic expert and a scientist. The main thing is to avoid simplifications, geometric sketching of the past, reducing it to parallels and piles of additional constructions, politicized speculations. No less great is the temptation to fall into exegesis, and from the interpreter of texts to become the owner of stylization and meta-history. The task of the researcher is to establish the specifics of the typical. It is extremely difficult to find the “median nerve” of an era, but this is the only way to “qualify the subjective side of an act” from a historiosophical perspective. The sensation and awareness of belonging to humanity obliges the scientist to think in integral, complex, figurative, and not abstract categories. Intersubjectivity itself (even intrasubjectivity) characterizes history as a humanitarian science, and not as narrowly social one (akin to jurisprudence or sociology, especially in their positivistic interpretations). The practical significance of the study lies in the fact that the material of the article can be used in the pedagogical process, and a comparison of fundamental and applied disciplines will help history majors to sort out professional and worldview issues, and teach them to distinguish between the eternal and the vain-trendy, the ideological and the tendentious. History, the author believes, is about the eternally alive, and not about the outdated things.
