Abstract. The authors examine the problem of improving the efficiency of crop production and formation of competitive advantages of agricultural business in order to increase their competitiveness. The authors discuss the possible ways for solving the problem and propose to increase the efficiency of production by increasing the productivity through the introduction of new varieties. The authors analyze the results of implementation, its effectiveness and impact on the competitiveness of agribusiness entities.
