Abstract. The authors discuss the problem of influence of the personal relations with other people on personal representations of Other person as an Enemy. The results of the study prove that respondents, perceiving the Enemy as manipulator, demonstrate the upper levels of adoption of other people, of benevolence to the others; respondents, perceiving the Enemy as the subject with alien cognitions and values, demonstrate the low levels of adoption of other people, of benevolence to the others. Data supported the hypothesis about the distinctions of personal representations of Enemy depending uponmodalities of positive relations to the others and not depending uponethnic identity’s parameters.
