Abstract. The paper describes the use of flowcharts for solving creative problems with the help of the S. Malkin’s algorithm of generating ideas; considers the adapted techniques of the theory of inventive problem solving, based on the algorithm of inventive problem solving (ARIZ) and the simplified algorithm for solving creative problems, which incorporates the basic steps ARIZ.
