Abstract. For intensification of the educational process is increasingly started to use the forms and means of training, aimed at active use in teaching new methods of cognition. Convincing case to use games as a stimulant for the development of speech and action, as a manifestation of the activity approach to training. The article describes the experience of the use of role games in the teaching discipline “Diagnostics of power plants”.
