Abstract. The paper is devoted to psychological adjustment of young children to preschool educational institution. It gives the concept of “psychological adaptation”, explores the types of adaptation, reveals the factors influencing on adaptation of children to preschool educational institution, and provides recommendations for maladjustment prevention.
