Abstract. The paper deals with the details of the activities of the D. V. Bubrih in 1941-1944 in Syktyvkar: management of the chair of the Komi language and literature at the Komi Pedagogical Institute; pedagogical activities and study of the Komi language and development of its grammar; scientific leadership of the regulatory “Komi-Russian dictionary”; organization and scientific support of dialectological expeditions in the regions of the Komi republic; training of future Finno-Ugric scientists.
