Innovative directions on the use of aluminum-containing waste in the production of non-ferrous metals and kislotouporov study of phase transformations during their firing
ART 85005
Abstract. For the first time shows the compositions of the ceramic material for the production of aluminum-based kislotouporov waste non-ferrous metals without the use of traditional natural materials. Using the aluminum-containing wastes more than 50% Al2O3 in the ceramic mass promotes formation of α-Al2O3 and mullite that enhance physical, mechanical and chemical properties of the product. Use of aluminum-containing waste containing less than 30% Al2O3 in the ceramic mass does not contribute to the formation of α-Al2O3, but promotes the formation of mullite. When using aluminum-containing waste containing increased amounts of alkali (R2O> 11%), cristobalite is formed, which adversely affects the physical and mechanical properties of ceramic composite materials.
