The article emphasizes the importance of improving product quality. The author proves the feasibility of introducing a uniform definition of the term «quality reserve» for the improvement and development of the theory of quality reserves management and strengthening its relationship with real production. The author proposes to adopt a unified concept of scientific studies on quality reserves on the basis of research, planning and implementation of quality reserves at the enterprise.
