This paper analyzes the content of the objective and subjective components of the social situation of children without parental care. Based on the study of psychological research, the author concludes that the identity of the children left without parental care, is formed in a special, deficit of the social situation of development, the optimization of which is the focus of psycho-pedagogical support personal development of these children.

The work analyzes the personality characteristics of gifted children in the context of their psychological readiness for professional self-determination. Identifies the problems of personal development of gifted children, to their successful professional self-determination. The conclusions of the author are based both on the results of the theoretical study of the problem and its own experimental studies
