The authors speaks about the innovation processes in transport industry, which have the great value for de-velopment of enterprises, branches and complexes. Conditions of rigid competition cause the increasing use of MI-8 helicopters for cargo transportation; implementation of the automated satellite radio navigating systems allows to raise economic efficiency of helicopter data use during cargo transportation.
