The paper deals with the deposits and extraction of diamonds by seasonal diamond mining enterprises in the Arctic regions of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia). The authors show the increasing role in the region in the extraction of diamonds from alluvial deposits and define the main directions of development of diamond mining in the Arctic regions of the Republic.

In the present article deals with the topical issue of influence of the central bank refinancing rate on inflation in the country. The author of an empirical formula depending on the refinancing rate of inflation in Russia, which allows to predict the level of inflation. The possibility of a change in control of inflation rate of refinancing, as well as to predict the possibility of economic crises.
