The author introduces the concept of stabilizing strategies in the matrix games (nхn); describes the conditions of their existence and optimality; gives the examples and suggests the new interpretation of matrix games solving as the search of stabilizing strategies.

The article suggests a possible approach to improve the meaningfulness of individual tasks in mathematics for students of economic and engineering disciplines. The author gives his own version of individual multi-tasks on the example of the section "Analytic geometry in space".
