The article considers the questions of application of basic learning tools in the regional component subject "Folk Music". As the example the author views the multimedia project on the topic "National instruments of Dagestan".

The article is devoted to the organization of teachers and students of higher educational institutions of the Northern Caucasus on the use on the lessons of literature in teaching other disciplines, extracurricular events, during teaching practice information about the writers, cultural figures associated with this region. The author offers a number of scientific and educational-methodical materials, allowing to carry out this work.
