The article considers the questions of application of basic learning tools in the regional component subject "Folk Music". As the example the author views the multimedia project on the topic "National instruments of Dagestan".
Relevance of literary multimedia project development is well-timed and a significant task in studying human disciplines of history of Russian literature of 19th century, seminars on reinterpretation of literary heritage of Russian writers. Furthermore, present biographical and literary and art content is used for creation of sightseeing tours on Yakut places of exile writers in Yakut region. The current project is a presentation of life and literary heritage of Russian writers A.A. Bestuzhev-Marlinsky, N.G Chenyshevsky, V.G. Bogoraz, V.G. Korolenko, Polish ethnographer and writer V.L. Seroshevsky. Students trace the routes of exile writers to Yakutia. In modern educational space there is a need of reinterpretation of literary heritage of 19th century in the context of virtualization processes and mediatization of sociocultural material, and creations of exile Russian writers are part of it. Apart from it, visualization of their works, scientific articles, letters, ethnographical reviews are considered as a new form of interaction of writers with spirituality, as a retrieval of forgotten names to the 20th century generation, as a basis of patriotic and moral education in Russia.

Multimedia projects — independently developed media products from the idea to its implementation, having subjective or objective novelty, made using media technologies, are one of the resources of media education of young people.
