This article proposes a new method for calculating students' ratings using information and computer technologies. The author has created an electronic database for calculating point-based ratings using an Excel spreadsheet. The relevance of this topic is due to the need to improve existing educational technologies in order to increase the efficiency and objectivity of student performance monitoring. The point-rating system is one of the most common forms of current and intermediate student knowledge assessment, but traditional forms of its implementation often face a number of challenges, such as the subjectivity of teachers, the complexity of processing large amounts of data, the lack of transparency in the evaluation criteria, and the time-consuming nature of maintaining student records. The use of information and computer technologies opens up opportunities for automating and digitalizing the educational process, ensuring efficient data collection and analysis, and improving the quality of student learning.
