The article reveals the relevance of the gift-giving culture in the business environment of Asian countries, as well as the reflection of the current business practices of China in modern times. The purpose of this study is to identify the level of knowledge in the field of gift-giving culture in the business environment of future specialists in the field of international relations. The research methods are systematization and generalization of the provisions of the scientific literature on the research problem. The paper includes the analysis of the results of the online-questionnaire in order to determine the level of awareness of international students about an important component of diplomatic etiquette for a future specialist in international relations. The article emphasizes the importance of the formation of knowledge and skills of gift-giving in the international business environment.
