This article discusses and analyzes the role of artillery of the 1st Belarusian front during the battles for the city-fortress of Poznan in 1945. The article contains information about the composition of the artillery group of artillery of the 1st Belarusian front before the assault of Poznan, as well as considers and analyzes the fighting of various parts of the artillery of the 1st Belarusian front during the assault from January 26 to February 23, 1945.
