METHODS OF RECRUITING UNITS OF THE RED ARMY BY INTERNATIONALIST SOLDIERS (BASED ON THE MATERIAL OF THE VOLGA MILITARY DISTRICT 1918 – 1920)

The article investigates the methods of recruitment of international formations that were part of the Red Army during the Civil War. The characteristic features of each of them are considered. On the basis of archival documents, the practical experience of international military construction of the country's armed forces at the most critical time for it is summarized.
