The championship movement «Professionals» was born in 2022. The championship movement is a competitive event aimed at demonstrating the competencies of contestants and working on the formation of prototypes of «products» in a certain economic area.
In March 2025, the second year of the regional stage of the competition was held, in which the Western branch of RANEPA hosted the site for the competence «Organization of excursion services» was opened in 2024.
In this article, we will consider the procedure for preparing for the competition, highlight the importance of the competition for the educational process. The relevance of the topic is due to the fact that the «Professionals» competition covers all working specialties, builds communities of teachers throughout Russia and allows students to be guided by the standards of their future profession.
After holding the said competition, I can highlight its significance:
1. Career guidance focus. Students begin to understand the specifics of their specialty, they have a desire to develop in their field, to become professionals.
2. Students and teachers from different educational institutions exchange experiences during the competition and begin to hold joint events.
3. The structure of assignments competently covers the results of mastering professional disciplines. Teachers begin to include assignments in work programs and in control and assessment materials.
The article considers the description and dissemination of the experience of training a competitive participant in the competitive movement for professional skills among fashion designers. The results of ten years of experience of such activities among students of secondary vocational education specialty 29.02.04 Design, Modeling and Technology of Garments are presented. The effectiveness of training specialists through the use of technologies of practice-oriented training relevant for secondary vocational education is confirmed. This approach seems to be very relevant and effective.
