The paper presents the results of a study on the civil - Patriotic development of modern youth. The analysis of the survey data on the awareness of students about the hero of our time, as well as the presence of Patriotic qualities, showed a low level of knowledge about the hero of our time and a catastrophically low level of patriotism among young people.
