The article is devoted to the review of different studies of terms “concept” and “concept spheres” as the basic units of cognitive linguistics of Russian scientists. Analyzing the novel by the British writer A. N. Wilson “The Healing Art” it is possible to pick out two basic concepts “belief” and “disbelief” and three concept spheres: psychological, religious and individual.
