The author considers communication as a subject of scientific knowledge in theoretical concepts and presents an overview of the relationship between generations through communicative features, which influence socialization, continuity and values of the younger generation. The author reveals special fea-tures and role of communication in the framework of inter-generational interactions.

The article considers the poetry of B. Ukachin, who reflected the national identity of Altai people in his work, which allowed him to win the hearts of readers and critics who recognized him as a classic of Altai literature. His philosophical searches, thoughts about time and about man conveyed the essence of the worldview of the Altai people. The authors of the article note that in addition to philosophical issues, issues of life, nature, Ukachin always wrote about the current problems of his region. This synthesis of the eternal, temporal, traditional and modern allowed Boris Ukachin to create an "I" hero, adequately conveying the experiences of not only the writer, but also the people themselves.
