The article is carried out the criminological characteristics of crime in the Trans-Caspian region of the Russian Empire of 1910-1912, disclosed crime dynamics in this region and considers certain types of crimes committed.

The article reveals the issues of criminalization of the Russian economy during the period of digital transformation of society. The analysis of the level of commission of criminal acts is carried out, the factors influencing economic crimes are identified and ways to solve the problems under study are proposed.
