The development of information technology has significantly changed the understanding of human rights, which, in turn, has led to a new interpretation of issues of personal integrity and data confidentiality. In this scientific paper, it is concluded that cybersecurity initiatives implemented in legislative projects can contribute to the formation of the institution of legal foundations for the protection of digital rights of the individual.
