The article is devoted to the current problem of motivation of cadets to study. In the work the analysis of the motivational sphere of aviation cadets of the University. The authors present the results of a study conducted to analyze the effectiveness of existing methods of stimulating and searching for new methods of developing the educational and professional orientation of cadets for training. Recommendations are formulated to encourage cadets to successful educational activities.
