The analysis was conducted on electromagnetic radiation from household appliances, computers, phones, smartphones, electrical appliances of the physiotherapy room of the Regional Hospital No.3, the receiving and transmitting television center in Tobolsk. Based on research and questionnaire survey, the authors made recommendations for the population of Tobolsk about prevention of the harmful effects of electromagnetic radiation on the human body."

We live in a world where electrical appliances have become an integral part of human existence. Invisible electromagnetic fields emitted by electrical equipment surround us and have their effect on living organisms. The aim of the work is to study the levels of the surrounding electromagnetic back-ground using the «Electromagnetic Waves Level Sesor» tester and experimentally verify its effect on seed germination.

The features of functional damage by ultrahigh frequency radiation to radio-electronic equipment are considered. The types and patterns of malfunction under the influence of electromagnetic radiation are shown. The energy levels of damage to some elements, blocks and nodes of the RES are indicated. The characteristics of several types of generators of powerful electromagnetic radiation operating in the centimeter and millimeter wave ranges are given. Some approximate generalized characteristics of the means of functional damage to electromagnetic radiation are presented.
