Ethnocultural approach in practice of social work with family

The characteristic of the ethnocultural approach and its advantages while working with the family are given.Data of the empirical research aimed at studying of difficult life situation characteristics and its resolution in mono-ethnic and inter-ethnic families are given. The necessity for the development of multicultural competence in students of the “social work” direction and in specialists of social protection institutions is revealed.
