The article examines the changing demographic dynamics in the member States of the EEC. The influence of natural and migration movements on the population of the Union is studied. The analysis of demographic and migration processes that took place on the territory of the NPP In 2018–2019 is carried out. Demographic trends are compared in the Smolensk region, as well as in the Vitebsk and Mogilev regions of Belarus.
