The paper considers the documents of diplomatic relations between Russia and Central Asia. These are written historical sources–business papers (replies, letters, decrees, orders of Moscow rulers, etc., paintings that contained information about gifts and goods for eastern rulers and close associates. The names of some names of gifts and goods are quite difficult to understand. The purpose of this article is analysis with an explanation of the names of goods – fabrics recorded in the monument of writing.In the article we will try to explain the lexical and etymological meaning of only one word – kindyak.
