The development of speech is the most important activity of a teacher of preschool education. Among the targets, according to GEF DO, is the following – «the child speaks well enough, can express his thoughts and desires, can use speech to express his thoughts, feelings and desires, build a speech statement in a communication situation». In the practice of work, it is important to use various methods and techniques aimed at the development of speech. This work is devoted to the study of pedagogical experience on the problem of the development of speech of preschoolers through the activation of fine motor skills of the fingers. The purpose of the study: to identify the conditions for the development of speech through the activation of fine motor skills of the fingers of children of primary preschool age. Based on the analysis of scientific, pedagogical and methodological literature, studying the experience of detail of practicing teachers, the following methods and techniques were identified aimed at developing the speech of preschool children with fine motor skills of fingers: folk games with palms; finger gymnastics with pronunciation of poems, nursery rhymes, songs; massage with massage balls and rubbing fingers; finger theater (shadow theater, theater on the hand); games with household items; games with natural material; didactic games; productive activities (drawing, modeling, weaving, the simplest types of origami); activities with sand and water; thread games. The findings can be used in the practice of teachers of preschool education, as well as students – future educators, parents.
