The article discusses topical issues of organizing social nutrition, improving the organization of school meals in modern conditions. Monitoring the provision of high-quality and safe nutrition for students in educational institutions of the Bryansk region. The main directions of personnel training for the school feeding system and the improvement of the skills of the production staff of school food units are considered. The need to popularize the idea of healthy nutrition among schoolchildren, the role of the pedagogical and parental public in the issues of healthy nutrition for children and adolescents is shown.
