The article is devoted to the analysis of the process of dedollarisation, which has become relevant in the conditions of geopolitical tension. More than half of the world's countries have begun to abandon settlements in dollars, which is due to sanctions, economic fluctuations and the influence of new economic centres. But despite this, the dollar continues to be the dominant reserve currency. The authors emphasise that the process of transition to alternatives will be long and complex, and at the moment none of the currencies can challenge the leadership of the dollar on the world stage.
