The article is devoted to the urgent problem of modern Russian education – foreign-speak as one of the manifestations of bilingualism. In order to successfully social adaptation foreign-speaking students, the teacher must ensure that they effectively master the Russian language. To do this, he needs to know the peculiarities of bilingualism inherent in foreign-speaking children and be able to carry out their linguistic methodological support, which includes three components: optimization of the speech environment, specialized assistance in mastering the Russian language by students and the organization of systematic study of linguistic theory by them.
