The potential for improving the energy efficiency of diesel generation really exists and can be estimated in real money. Reducing the fuel component is one of the priorities. This article discusses the problems and possible options for the modernization and reconstruction of diesel generation, including the positive experience of JSC «Sakhaenergo» of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

The article identified the main directions for improving the efficiency of boiler plants in the agro-industrial complex. A calculation of fuel economy was carried out when using a plate heat exchanger at various outdoor temperatures.
