The organization of an effective process of forming the readiness of a future physical education teacher to carry out health-preserving activities is an important socio-pedagogical problem. Its solution addresses the pressing issues of society and education, as in today's conditions, the search for ways to strengthen and promote the health of students and encourage them to lead a healthy lifestyle is of particular importance. One possible solution to the problem of health preservation among students is the development and implementation of a model for forming the readiness of a future physical education teacher to carry out health-preserving activities, which reflects the specific features of students' professional training for practical activities within the school's educational process. The model of forming the readiness of future teachers for health-saving in school, developed and implemented on the basis of Kuban State University, includes interconnected physical, cognitive, motivational, reflexive, and practical components, with the leading role of the motivational component, which creates the prerequisites and opportunities for the formation of all other components. As a result of the experimental work, a set of pedagogical conditions was identified and tested to ensure the success in forming the readiness of a future physical education teacher to implement health-saving activities.
