Learning with games has been evolving for centuries, and the transition from the game as a singular technique to a systematic use of games is an outcome of this process. The authors describe the process of evolution of game techniques, providing examples and revealing its effectiveness.
The article focuses on teaching with games in the school foreign language classroom. The authors suggest game repetition which can enhance the quality of student learning outcomes. First, learners play as a class, then they perform the same game task either in pairs, groups of three, or mingles.
The relevance of this article is determined by the fact that in recent years, especially in the teaching of English, a new approach to teaching in the form of educational games has been adopted. During the study of this approach to teaching, a number of advantages and disad-vantages were identified, which are described in this article.
The article presents the role and effectiveness of online sessions in the process of speech development in senior preschool-aged children. It analyzes the modern possibilities, methods, and tools of distance learning that contribute to the development of children’s communication skills. The article includes an original study based on observations and questionnaires, which allows for the evaluation of the effectiveness of online sessions in terms of the development of various components of speech: phonetic culture, vocabulary, grammar, coherent speech, and artistic language. The results indicate that with the use of modern technological tools and well-structured methods, it is possible to ensure speech development even under remote learning conditions.
