This work is devoted to the practical study by schoolchildren of a physical phenomenon known as the Hall effect. A scientific and methodological development is proposed, the purpose of which is to acquaint students with the fundamental principles of semiconductor conductivity and the method of measuring the magnetic field. The results of this article can be used both for educational purposes and for further immersion of schoolchildren into the world of physics and electronics. The analysis of the minimum material and technical base is given. Recommendations for the implementation of this practical lesson in the educational process are offered.
