The article is devoted to the problems of maintaining land and common property of gardening and horticultural associations. Shortcomings in the legislation regulating relations in the field of gardening and horticulture are identified and some solutions are proposed.

One of the significant components of the agro-industrial complex structure is the production of fruit products. This article examines the main problems of the fruit subcomplex, reveals the importance and tasks of analyzing the efficiency of fruit production in modern conditions, and also provides an assessment of the economic efficiency of their production. The assessment of the economic efficiency of fruit production in this article is presented based on the materials of an existing agricultural enterprise – SEC "Agrofirma Novobatayskaya" of the Kagalnitsky district of the Rostov region. Based on its results, the main directions for increasing the efficiency of fruit production are presented, and proposals are substantiated, the use of which should contribute to improving the efficiency of fruit production at this enterprise.
