The article presents the author’s opinion on assessing the business idea of introducing a new board of free online ads in Karelia. The logic of the presentation of the material is based on the systematization of international trends in the development of the classified market and the identification of the characteristics of the Russian online classifieds market based on a study of the popular classifieds of our country. Proposals are made to improve the characteristics of the new Karelian service for placing online ads and conclusions on the economic feasibility of launching the next regional classified.
