In this work the technique of an assessment of creativity of teenagers is considered. The creativity assessment example on a linear scale is analysed, efficiency of the program for formation of creativity is measured and value of more detailed studying of this problem is staticized.

The paper deals with the procedure of measurement of pupils’ proficiency about traffic rules. The measurement was held within the framework of the theory of latent variables based on the Rash dichotomic model. The analysis of quality of the test as measuring tool was fulfilled. The obtained results have shown that the test has good statistical properties.
The features of measuring latent variables in social systems are considered. The key concepts that are used in the theory of measurement of latent variables are shown. Examples of the use of this theory in education and other social systems are given.
