This article examines legally significant messages as a new institution in the development of the digital economy, including taking into account the provisions of the Civil Code of the Republic of Belarus . Issues related to the practical determination of the moment of delivery of legally significant messages to the addressee are examined. The provisions of the legislation on the place of legally significant messages in civil legal relations are analyzed.
