The article provides a comparative analysis of the economic efficiency of three technologies for improving the energy efficiency of windows in budget institutions: the use of low-emission films, double-glazed windows with K-glass and I-glass. Based on the climatic data of five Russian cities (Sochi, Rostov-on-Don, Moscow, Novosibirsk, and Yakutsk), the payback periods for each technology are calculated. It is shown that the choice of the optimal solution depends on the severity of the climate: in mild conditions, film is preferred, and in cold regions, expensive double-glazed windows become competitive. Recommendations are given for budget organizations on the choice of technology, taking into account local climatic and tariff conditions.
