The paper describes the experience of the regional innovation project “Connection of matter, forms and methods of basic and supplementary mathematical education of schoolchildren”, which was carried out at Lyceum #21 in Kirov, Russia. The paper outlines the key points of scientific advisor’s activities, which help to improve school teacher’s professional skills; the possible ways of conducting innovative activities with schoolchildren and students – future teachers of mathematics.

This article investigates the influence of digital educational platforms on the teaching of mathematics in schools. It examines the functional capabilities of the most popular Russian and international platforms, as well as their impact on students' interest in the subject and their academic performance. Based on a conducted survey, the extent of digital tool usage in lessons was analyzed. The study identifies the main advantages and challenges associated with the implementation of these tools. The article concludes by offering specific recommendations for integrating learning platforms into traditional teaching methodology.
